Technical Overview

Each grade offers sub-qualities J0, J2, K2 that define Charpy impact test temperatures: J0 = 0°C, J2 = −20°C, K2 = −20°C with higher absorbed energy. The standard also specifies chemical composition limits, delivery conditions (as-rolled, normalised, or thermomechanically rolled), and testing requirements. EN 10025-2 material must carry a CE Declaration of Performance when used in European construction under EN 1090.
